Washington, D.C. – Today, Moms for America® announced its participation as a proud member of the newly launched America 250 Civics Education Coalition, a nationwide partnership of more than 40 organizations working to renew patriotism, strengthen civic literacy, and inspire Americans of all ages to cherish our founding principles as the nation approaches its 250th anniversary.

The Coalition, headed by the America First Policy Institute in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Education and Secretary Linda E. McMahon, will unite classrooms and communities across all 50 states through engaging programs such as college speaker series, teacher summits, student competitions, and family-friendly history experiences. The Coalition’s motto is “Know America. Love America.”

“America’s 250th is more than a date on the calendar, it’s a generational opportunity to rekindle civic pride and pass on the blessings of liberty to our children,” said Kimberly Fletcher, President of Moms for America. “As mothers, we know that love of country grows when our kids understand our Constitution, our history, and the responsibilities of citizenship. We’re honored to help lead that work alongside our Coalition partners.”

“From teacher toolboxes to student competitions, this Coalition is designing practical, positive ways to bring civics to life in homes and classrooms,” said Debbie Kraulidis, Vice President of Moms for America, who represented MFA at the launch. “We’re excited to champion programs that are engaging, accessible, and unifying.”

The Coalition’s efforts align with a broader, nationwide initiative to celebrate America’s Semiquincentennial and restore civic understanding in an era when basic constitutional knowledge and civic pride are at historic lows.
