Believe Your Eyes – American Moms are on the Rise to Restore Patriotism

“Who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes?”

That iconic line from the Marx Brothers movie, Duck Soup, has found its way back – implied by those who seek to remake America. Is that too strong of a statement? Sadly, it’s not.

If you listen to the loudest voices, it seems like we’re supposed to ignore what we see with our own two eyes. The media (social and news) tell us:

• Critical Race Theory is not in schools- it’s a myth.
• The border is closed and secure.
• The multi-trillion dollar “Inflation Reduction Act” will reduce inflation.
• Transgender participation in female sports is fair. Nothing to see here.
• Patriotic expression is hateful violence.

So, it’s up to us. Are we going to believe what we see or succumb to what we are told we see by the government, news media, and social platforms?

The eyes of moms across the country are now wide open. We know what we’re seeing. That’s why we have begun an ambitious program at Moms for America– a pathway to help you rebuild.

It’s up to us, mamas. As parents of a new generation, we hold the future of American patriotism in our hands. Restoring Patriotism is a clarion call to moms like you who are unwilling to watch our great nation unravel.

Political and popular culture have drawn a line in the sand.

On one side are moms, dads, singles, students, and retirees who love America. Were we too busy to see this culture war coming? We’ve been occupied raising our kids to love God and country, creating a legacy of hard-working, freedom-loving patriots. But we can’t unsee what’s happening – the willful destruction of patriotism.

Across the growing divide, another group is loud, insistent, and brash. They stand for woke agendas and gender fluidity; they seem to reject the tenet of the Constitution and capitalism (but love their iPhones – scratching my head on that one). They want parents out of education and masks on toddlers.

Some schools have even enacted policies to hide information about gender transitioning children from their parents. And we all know that the “mythological” critical race theory is in our schools.

The National School Board Association called parents domestic terrorists for voicing reasonable concerns at public meetings. In one of the most outrageous moves, the National Archives added “trigger warnings” to America’s founding documents.

Your eyes aren’t fooling you. It’s gotten crazy out there.

There is good news, though. Moms are on the rise.

You are making your voice heard and protecting your kids, schools, and communities. Moms and families represent burgeoning hope for the future of this nation. You have what it takes to change the course of history – bringing back American greatness.

Time for Restoring Patriotism

Thousands of like-minded moms are engaging with Restoring Patriotism. You can join classes for moms and kids, interacting with others about how to raise a generation marked with American patriotism. Together we are working towards a culture shift back to freedom principles. Your family can learn about history and the present through our patriotic blogs and videos and discover ways to incorporate patriotic flair into everyday life, vacations, and celebrations. There’s even a fun-filled Patriot Pack for your kids!

We haven’t lost our country yet, and I believe we can regain what’s been stripped away from our nation in just one generation.

Here’s what’s already happening:

At home – Moms are rediscovering the power of the dinner table. Gathering family for a robust discussion of current events and patriotic stories while connecting with children on a personal level is reawakening patriotic spirit in American families. Studies show that dinner together three times a week strengthens kids in myriad ways; less drug abuse, sexual activity, and mental illness. It’s always been a good idea, but now it’s even more critical.

Flags fly proudly over American homes, and our active military, veterans, and first responders are honored. Families are turning vacations into learning experiences visiting points across the country where history was made. They are building in the next generation, the heart of a patriot.

At school – Mama bears have become a force to be reckoned with. They review the curriculum, volunteer on campus, and hold schools accountable. They attend school board meetings and speak out against sexual and pornographic materials imposed on children of all ages. The sheer number of engaged parents has put schools on notice. Moms and dads are running for school boards – and winning.

In Government ­– Moms are voting. Because of what they see happening, their determination is amplified exponentially by the assault on the traditional family, faith, education, and patriotism. They were active before, but now they are committed to getting out the vote to save America for their children.

Broadcasting that parents shouldn’t be involved in their children’s education lit the fuse. Excesses of the covid science-ignoring mandates and shut-downs have awakened a powerful voting bloc. In November, all will see the next chapter of the mama bear movement. We’ve created Mom Vote to make getting involved quick and easy. It provides voter registration and a range of information about upcoming elections, including details about candidates, both national and local.

We believe the American dream is alive and well. We want to be part of helping moms find their voice: restoring patriotism in their families, churches, schools, and communities. As citizens, we have every right to make a stand to save America.

Sometimes what you see – the good common sense – is the truth. Don’t let powerful voices tell you otherwise. This nation belongs to you and your children.

Believe your eyes and test everything you hear. Celebrate patriotism, and don’t give up.
