Four Go-To Strategies Moms Can Use to Save America in 2024
Resolutions are great, right?
Actually, no, they’re not.
They usually die unceremoniously around late February – or early March. Some don’t even clear the second week of January.
We shared some ideas in last week’s blog for a healthier approach to these sorts of New Year’s goals and desires in areas where your resolve can be life-changing. (Much more than the resolution to lose 50 pounds, run two miles a day, or never eat chips and salsa again. Does that one ever work?)
2024 is different, though.
It holds the promise and potential peril of technological, cultural, and political world-shifting events just ahead. It’s exciting, baffling, and a little terrifying all at once. In 2020, we were treated to what happens when pretty much everything goes wrong. Seriously, those twelve months were the poster child of all dumpster fires.
That year, COVID-19 was used to curtail American liberties, which facilitated a seriously questionable election – and just when you didn’t think things couldn’t get worse – President Biden took power. That power has been channeled efficiently to dismantle America – and the American Dream. It’s been a steady and rapid slide downward for our nation as Biden’s policies have crushed freedom, prosperity, and security from sea to shining sea. Families face financial pressures and more questions than answers as the press secretary and her mainstream media minions tell us not to believe what we see – things are great!
It’s incredibly arrogant and insulting that they assume we’ll believe their lies when our experience tells the opposite story.
Now, it’s 2024. It is finally the Presidential Election year.
The last three years have felt like an eternity- like waiting for Christmas day when you were a five-year-old. It seemed like it would never get here, and some of us wondered what would be left after Biden’s destructive policies had full effect. Without a doubt, America and her people suffered and continue to, but now we have a glimmer of hope.
November 5th, 2024. We get to elect our next President. “Next” President – has a nice ring to it, right?
It’s not that simple, though. So much needs to happen this year leading up to that monumental day. We must carefully and intentionally map out our approach to the months leading up to November. That’s why we’ve devised four go-to strategies to save America in 2024.
1. Keep Your Eye on the Prize for 2024
The prize for this year is the Presidential Election.
We won’t fall prey to excuses like “Whatever happens will happen.” “I’m busy, and I’m just one person. What difference do I make anyway?” That attitude is the kind that gets us a dozen eggs for nine bucks. That’s not you, mama. The fact that you’re here at Moms for America shows that you mean business. So do we.
We encourage you to keep your eye on the prize and remember why you’re getting involved in 2024. First and foremost, we know our kids’ future hangs in the balance. As moms, we have the power to make a real difference in the country our children inherit. Though they may not realize it today – they are counting on us. That’s why we have banded together, many thousands strong at Moms for America.
Mamas, you hold the keys to our nation’s future, liberty, and constitutional republic. Together, we can show our powerful influence, rescuing our country from disaster.
Remember that backing down could land us in another four years of Biden. Did you ever imagine this level of destruction was possible in one term? His “accomplishments” are things like – the deadly Afghanistan debacle and the collapse of the American dream with his “Bidenomics” farce. Ballooning inflation and interest rates caused American families to lose an average of $74001 each year as he unapologetically destroyed our energy independence and opened the border wide – taking away our national sovereignty. Then, his administration offered full-throated support of destructive gender policies hurting American kids and female athletes and weakening America on the world stage. Sadly, I could go on and on.

This week, hear from candidate Amy Henry on our latest podcast. She’s running for an Idaho House of Representatives seat and is a mama bear putting it all on the line to help save our nation. Don’t miss the story of her own fight against a school that protected the bullies who targeted her daughter.
2. Champion Truth in 2024
Truth is becoming rare – like a sasquatch sighting. It’s now a much-diminished value in our culture. Think about it. Men can be pregnant? Words are violence? January 6th is Pearl Harbor, 9/11, and the Holocaust all rolled into one? We are a nation being trained to accept boldly untrue statements as fact.
This was illustrated in the Orwell dystopian novel 1984 when Winston was tortured to “believe” that two plus two was five. The abuse and punishment weren’t about the math – it was about total submission to authority. In his diary, that character wrote, “Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two equals four.”
As illustrated in 1984, to maintain our liberty – we must hold white-knuckled, if need be, to the truth. As moms, this year especially, we must speak the truth. We must share our views honestly, even if they are unpopular.
We have our own version of tortured brainwashing from our national media. They repeat in eerie unison talking points repeatedly until we often begin to believe them – whether they are true or not. For example, the Clinton budget surplus I’ve accepted for most of my life because I heard about it over and over through the years, was called into question with a detailed explanation of the falsehood of those claims by Matt Palumbo in his book, Debunk This: Shattering Liberal Lies.2 Who knew?
Similarly, I was speaking with a friend recently, who votes her conservative values, and the subject of President Trump came up. I was shocked to hear her parroting things the mainstream media had been saying to denigrate the President, including the crazy assertion that Trump plans a dictatorship. Given that the President showed no tendency toward totalitarianism during his first term, this is simply a made-up idea that has gotten legs through sheer repetition.
It was recently announced that Moms for America Action “enthusiastically endorses Donald Trump for President of the United States. He is a proven leader who has already demonstrated that he will stand up for freedom and fight for American values, even when he is viciously attacked for doing so.
As mothers, there is nothing more important to us than a free America where our children can thrive and are free to pursue their American dream. Moms need a champion like Donald Trump back in the White House, defending our families, protecting our freedoms, and renewing hope for our children.”
When you hear nay-sayers trashing him with unfounded claims, respond graciously – and fearlessly – armed with facts3 about the first four years with Trump in the White House:
- Inflation was 1.4%, mortgage rates were under 4% (in 2020), and gas was around $1.85 per gallon.
- The border was secured.
- America became energy independent.
- Retirement accounts tied to the S&P 500 index increased by 50% of their value between 2016 and 2019
- Ended ISIS and took a strong stand against America’s enemies without going to war.
- Unemployment was low, and employment participation was high.
- Brokered fairer and more profitable international trade deals.
- Largest increase in defense spending since Reagan.
- Unemployment among Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, and African Americans brought to an all-time low.
- Real disposable personal income increased by 100 billion in 2019.
- Meaningful Middle East peace progress when the Abraham Accords in 2020 normalized relations between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.
- Protected religious freedom.
These are highlights, not an exhaustive list. The bottom line is this: let’s remember what life was like then – compared to now.
The only way we can combat the spin is with the truth. Be kind, firm, and vocal when discussing politics with your friends and community. Despite its unpopularity, the truth can win the day and save our future!
3. Get Involved in 2024
We shared several opportunities to dive in with Moms for America in the “Resolve to Get Involved” section of last week’s blog. And we hope you’ll join arms with us and thousands of other like-minded mamas who are determined to make a difference in America for our kids and their future.
Gear up and share Mom Vote with your friends. You’ll find our Endorsements & Questionnaires, a Congressional Report Card, and our interactive map with our Endorsed Candidates for 2024. These are being updated as the election season heats up, so check in throughout the year.
Then, we encourage you to get involved in your state and city. Some ways you can help this year are:
- Spread the word – let friends know that their vote is vital.
- Volunteer for your favorite candidate.
- Help register voters.
- Become a poll worker.
- Lend a hand to your state political party (they always seek volunteers).
- Teach your kids about the election process, candidates, and platforms, and model for them the importance of getting involved.
There are more ways to make a difference in your community, so keep alert for opportunities to get involved. If ever you were needed, it’s now. This is an election year with immense consequences for our families.
4. Pray Strategically in 2024
Our nation was founded on faith and prayer, with many of our forefathers turning to God during times of war, distress, and unrest. Presidents and leaders also called for days of thanks, praise, and prayer. It makes sense that we, too, would commit ourselves and the coming elections to God.
- Pray for the candidates to be protected from harm and nefarious schemes.
- Pray for the election process that any attempts to cheat or undermine the operation of a fair and accurate vote will fail.
- Pray that God will raise up the right men and women to lead the US in the coming years.
- Pray that America would return to the values of its founding and the Constitution, and that truth, liberty, and family would again thrive in our land.
We believe strongly in the hope and future of this great United States of America. We are grateful to call her home and to be privileged to take our place as active and engaged citizens. As moms, we know that our voices are vitally important, especially now, with the cultural decay we see all around. Together, we can see a brighter future for our families and a return to the values that made America great. Let’s work together, mamas, to make it happen in 202
