Kimberly Fletcher talks with Emma Rechenberg at NewsMax about the Missouri law makers now considering new legislation that could ban CRT in schools and offer teacher training in “Patriotism”.
The Parents’ Bill of Rights Act of 2023 reads in part that “Courses on critical race theory or units of study on critical race theory within a course shall not be offered by any public elementary or secondary school or by any preschool, early childhood education program, or pre-kindergarten program offered by a public school district or charter school.”
It also calls on the Missouri Department of Education and secondary education to develop a patriotic and civics training program to prepare teachers to teach the principles of American civics and patriotism. This bill of rights will also allow parents to access their children’s school curriculum.
