Washington, D.C. – July 25, 2025 – Moms for America® strongly supports President Donald J. Trump’s signing of H.R. 4, the Rescissions Act of 2025, a bold and necessary move to eliminate wasteful and woke government spending that has long undermined American values and misused taxpayer dollars.
“This is a huge win for families across the country who are tired of footing the bill for radical, anti-American agendas,” said Kimberly Fletcher, Founder and President of Moms for America. “President Trump is once again standing up for parents, taxpayers, and the rule of law by cutting off funding to organizations that have lost their way, like NPR, PBS, and the United Nations and restoring fiscal principles to Washington.”
The legislation rescinds over 20 programs and accounts, including:
- Defunding woke media: The bill eliminates over $1 billion in future taxpayer funding to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, including NPR and PBS, entities increasingly known for promoting ideological narratives over journalistic integrity.
- Halting globalist agendas: It withdraws hundreds of millions from the United Nations and World Health Organization, demanding accountability from foreign entities and reinforcing American sovereignty.
- Cutting radical foreign aid: The bill removes funding from USAID programs that promote gender ideology, climate extremism, and abortion overseas. This will ensure American dollars serve American interests.
- Eliminating wasteful bureaucracy: From the U.S. Institute of Peace to duplicative aid foundations, the Rescissions Act fulfills its promise to streamline government and eliminate ideological bloat.
“Our moms have had enough of watching their hard-earned tax dollars funneled into foreign pet projects, climate propaganda, and divisive social experiments,” Fletcher continued. “This bill sends a clear message that the days of funding anti-family, anti-American programs are over. President Trump is proving once again that he’s listening to the heart of America and fighting for us.”
