Moms for America® Statement on Low Confidence in Public Schools
Branson, MO – Today, Moms for America®
released the following statement in response to the Gallup Poll report sharing that American confidence and distrust in public schools have reached a near all-time low at 28 percent.
“It is no surprise that confidence in public schools have dropped extremely low,” said Moms for America President Kimberly Fletcher. “With schools essentially taking parents out of the equation and replacing them with a radical agenda filled with Critical Race Theory, transgenderism, failing school safety, and more, parents across the country no longer feel that public schools are a safe place for their children. Furthermore, school boards have become vehicles of left-wing indoctrination instead of empowering families and parents.”
“Parents across the country are waking up and realizing the left-wing political agenda taking over the public-school systems,” said Quisha King, Senior Director at Moms for America. “The pandemic actually helped parents realize what is happening in the classrooms at their children’s schools. Why are schools teaching racist ideology like CRT on children when the vast majority of families are not racist? Moms for America supports all parents who make the decision to find alternative educational choices for their children, and are prepared to guide them through those decisions with our several resources on education.”
