Moms mobilize with actor Kirk Cameron for nationwide library day on August 5

Branson, MO – Moms for America® announced today that it is partnering with actor Kirk Cameron and BRAVE Books to promote “See You at the Library Day” on August 5. The nationwide event encourages all families who love God and love America to gather at local public libraries to pray, sing, and read books that promote virtue and patriotism.

“Libraries have been at the forefront of the movement to indoctrinate our children with values that most American parents roundly reject,” said Kimberly Fletcher, founder, president, and CEO of Moms For America. “This event is an opportunity for families to provide a positive counter-voice simply by gathering at their local libraries to share stories that promote truth, good character, and principles of freedom – all things BRAVE stands for. Actor Kirk Cameron, who has received outpourings of both support and vitriol while touring America’s libraries giving readings of his children’s books, welcomed the opportunity to show the world that American parents still believe in traditional values such as Biblical morality and patriotism.
