January 23, 2025 – Tulsi Gabbard, President Trump’s nominee for Director of National Intelligence, recently received the coveted Champion of Freedom award from Moms For America, a nationwide network of over 500,000 moms committed to promoting faith, freedom, and family. Moms For America is urging members of the U.S. Senate to swiftly confirm her nomination so she can begin the important work of de-politicizing America’s intelligence apparatus.
“The main thing everybody needs to understand about Tulsi Gabbard is that she’s a fighter,” said Kimberly Fletcher, founder and president of Moms For America. “As she has demonstrated repeatedly throughout her career in both the military and politics, she cannot be intimidated into compromising her principles.”
Gabbard, a four-term congresswoman from Hawaii who left the Democratic Party in 2022 because of its increasing embrace of “woke” politics and warmongering, is also a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve who served a tour of duty in Iraq.
“Now is when the work begins. We have no time to waste,” Gabbard told attendees at Moms For America’s 2024 Inaugural Gala. “This is not a time when we make small tweaks around the corners. Now is a unique time in our nation’s history that we the people have the opportunity to bring about transformational change.”
